Spartus US Patent Granted. After 4 Years, It’s Official!

We’re thrilled to announce that our patent “Neural Network-Based Inference Method and Apparatus” (US12299576B2) has officially been granted by the USPTO!

This work started in early 2021, back when ChatGPT didn’t exist and “compressing a matrix” still meant something non-psychological. After four years of perseverance, revisions, and enough back-and-forth to qualify as a long-distance relationship with the patent office, the finish line is finally crossed.

The invention focuses on making neural network computation faster by compressing matrices, balancing workloads, and pruning like a very picky digital gardener. All for faster, leaner, and greener AI.
